Personal Data Protection
We provide consulting and assistance regarding the fulfilment of the requirements of Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) and the Bulgarian legislation in connection with the protection of personal data, including:
- We perform comprehensive reviews of the client’s operations regarding personal data processing in order to meet the requirements of the European GDPR and the relevant Bulgarian legislation in the field;
- We prepare various documents necessary for the client with regard to the fulfilment of the principle of accountability and credibility of the lawful processing of personal data - internal policies and procedures, general terms & conditions, Data Protection Impact Assessment, contractual clauses with personal data processors, written information to different data subjects, informational bulletins, informed consent templates, website policies and disclaimers, confidentiality declarations, etc.;
- We consult and provide assistance for meeting the legal requirements in case of data transfers outside of the EU;
- We perform representation and provide legal assistance in proceedings before the Commission for Personal Data Protection;
- We provide training to the client’s personnel engaged in the processing of personal data regarding compliance with the requirements of the applicable Bulgarian and European legislation.
